Installing the skimmer: two methods
Two methods of installing the swimming pool skimmer with concrete forms.
General guidance only. These steps describe how the Swim-crete forming system is typically used. They are not a substitute for engineered plans, the Swim-crete pool prints for your project, or your local building codes.

01Method 1 — pour in place
Dedicate an interior concrete form, screw holes in face sheet for skimmer, and use a pilaster concrete form on exterior wall. Add a short section of pipe to skimmer ending with a coupling. Coupling should be taped and fit tightly against pilaster.

02Method 2 — block-out
Simply block-out an area to desired dimension using wood or a prefabricated concrete form block-out. After forms are removed, place skimmer in wall and finish installing by using mortar.
